Principal's Update
Kia ora Waitetuna Whaanau, a huge thanks to Abby and Harold for the learning that happened in the Life Education truck. Our students had an amazing time in the Life Education truck, where they explored important topics in a fun and engaging way. With the help of Abby and Harold the Giraffe, they learned about healthy choices, friendships, resilience, and well-being through interactive activities and discussions. The sessions were packed with valuable lessons that will help students make positive choices in their daily lives and understand and hopefully appreciate how special and amazing they are. A huge thank you to the Life Ed team for bringing this fantastic learning experience to our school!
Junior Room camp—what a fabulous night of fun and games the Junior Room had last night. The weather didn’t dampen spirits with the wonderful overnight camp at school, filled with excitement, adventure, and great memories! After their walk at Kaniwhaniwha, the students enjoyed a night of fun activities, teamwork, and outdoor learning. A huge thank you to Robyn for organising this amazing experience—it was a fantastic opportunity for our young learners to build confidence, connect with nature, and create lasting friendships. Well done to all our campers!
Book Amnesty—we have a number of popular books not issued from our library that are not on the shelves. We would really appreciate if you could return any school books you may have at home.
Edge App—we think we are ready for you to download the school edge app. You will be able to access learning posts and reports for your children in this app. Please see attached details of how to download this.
Our school swimming pool will close on the last day of term 1. Unwanted bean bag—do you have an unwanted bean bag we could use at school please.
Ngaa mihi nui. Kia pai too ra whakataa, Amanda and Staff
